Most Popular Posts

I just added a new page to VentureBlog that lists our 20 most popular posts. I've seen this kind of functionality on a few blogs and thought it was an important thing to add to our site. It's helpful, especially for new visitors to the site, to get a sense of what we write about. The page is permanently linked to from our left hand navigation bar.

Now David, Naval and I can compete for popularity. I'm currently king of the mountain.

King of the hill, huh. It depends upon how you look at it. I presently have 10 of the top 20 stories. Whereas Andrew only has 7. So, sure he's got the number one post. Does that really make him king of the hill? I think not!

Uh...Yeah, Andrew is the king. It doesn't matter how many others are on the mountain, only who is comanding the summit. Is Ellison king of software? I think not.
