Mr. Gruener Goes To Sacramento?

Garrett Gruener, co-founder and director at early stage venture investor Alta Partners, has added his name to the list of candidates to replace California governor Gray Davis should the recall succeed. I served on a board of directors with Garrett and enjoyed his outspokenness and thoughtful opinions. Garrett's also been on the other side of the table (he was a founder of Ask Jeeves) and I'm not surprised to see him making a run at politics.
